We’re excited to announce that our US-based users* can now buy, sell, and swap XRP in the BitPay Wallet and our network of partners.
That means you can build your XRP portfolio, rotate into or out of it, and cash out to fiat straight from your wallet. This update comes in addition to the previous support for storage and spending. And like everything in the BitPay Wallet, it happens in self-custody. You hold your own keys the entire time.

Here's how to get started:
Already have XRP in the BitPay Wallet? Update to the latest version of the app and you can buy, sell, and swap right away.
New to the wallet? Download the BitPay Wallet app and create a new XRP wallet or import an existing one directly in the BitPay app.
Fund your wallet by buying XRP through BitPay's network of integrated partners, or by receiving XRP from another wallet or exchange.
From there, build your portfolio, swap and sell as you like, and put your XRP to use. Browse BitPay merchants and available gift cards right in the app.
